International Mother
Language Day has been originated from the Mother Language Day of Bangladesh. This
is one of the greatest achievements for Bangladeshis. The day 21st February
is chosen because on this day many students including University of Dhaka
have sacrificed their lives for protecting their Bengali Language. This is the one
country in the world that has saved their language by bleeding.
Without their sacrifices
till today we may not be freed or may not be speak in our own language. The World
has got a Day to remember.
